Community Guidelines

Welcome! Crowdroom is a safe, inclusive space for real-time group video chat. By joining, you agree to follow these rules and help us build a positive community for everyone. These guidelines are part of our Terms of Service.

1. Be Respectful

Treat all users with kindness, empathy, and respect. Disagreements can happen, but personal attacks, bullying, and abuse are not tolerated.

2. Keep It Legal and Safe

Do not share, display, or promote any content or activity that is illegal or dangerous. This includes, but is not limited to:

• Depictions of extreme or graphic violence.
• Sexually explicit or obscene content.
• Content that encourages self-harm or harm to others.

3. Protect Everyone’s Privacy

Do not share your own or anyone else’s private information. This is strictly prohibited and includes:

• Phone numbers, home addresses, or email addresses.
• Social security numbers, credit card details, or passwords.
• Soliciting personal information from other users.

4. No Hate or Discrimination

Crowdroom is a global community. Hate speech and discrimination have no place here. We will take swift action against any content or behavior that attacks or demeans a person or group based on:

• Race or ethnic origin
• Religion
• Disability
• Age
• Nationality
• Sexual orientation or gender identity

Examples of prohibited behavior include using slurs, promoting negative stereotypes, or using dehumanizing language.

5. No Harassment or Bullying

Do not engage in behavior intended to target, intimidate, or degrade another user. This includes:

• Repeatedly sending unwanted messages.
• Making threats of any kind.
• Sexual harassment or unwelcome sexual advances.

6. No Spam or Bots

• Do not use bots, automation, or scripts to access or interact with Crowdroom.
• Do not spam other users with repetitive messages, mass invitations, or unsolicited commercial promotions.

7. Age Restrictions

Crowdroom is for users 16 and older only. Any account found to belong to a user under the age of 16 will be immediately removed. Do not lie about your age.

8. Reporting & Consequences

If you see someone violating these guidelines, please use the in-app reporting tools or email us at support@crowdroom.app to let us know.

Violations of these guidelines may result in warnings, content removal, temporary suspensions, or a permanent ban from Crowdroom, at our sole discretion.
